What’s included:
KUPA ManiPRO Passport set normally consists of a wireless portable control box and a handpiece.
It comes with a charger, a plastic handpiece holder, and a metal belt clip.
There is no foot pedal (more on this below) and nail drill bits are not included.

In addition to that, you can also purchase a special plastic cradle, which is sold separately.
The cradle is useful for placing the portable KUPA e-file on the table in a position that’s convenient for working with it and for keeping your hands free.
The cradle keeps the control box at an angle for easier use of the control dial.

Size and portability
The drill’s control box is super compact. It’s 4.25″ long and less than an inch thick.
This small nail drill is ideal for you if you need to travel or if you don’t have too much table space or storage space.
You can also move between manicure and pedicure stations easily with such a lightweight and portable unit.
And the quality and durability of this KUPA portable nail drill are compatible with professional tabletop e-files.
Charge and battery life
ManiPRO Passport is battery powered and rechargeable.
So it’s wireless and portable.
The batteries are quite long-lasting.
This e-file can work up to 8-10 hours per charge.

And you don’t have to worry about it stopping in the middle of your manicure.

The full charge takes just a couple of hours.

The main adaptor is 110 V.

KUPA ManiPRO Passport’s maximum RPM is 30,000. It’s a very high speed unit.
Even though there are nail drills on the market that have even more RPM this is a great maximum speed.
This is more than enough for a professional nail drill.
And 30,000 RPM is a great degree of power for such a compact unit.
This drill is powerful enough for you to work on acrylic nails.
At a higher speed, you don’t even need to put any pressure to remove acrylic nails
At the same time, it has lower speed settings too.
So it’s gentle enough for working on natural nails.
The Passport e-file has enough power for doing both manicures and pedicures.
Torque
KUPA ManiPRO passport is a high torque nail drill.
So it won’t stall during work when you put force to the nail.
Controls
The drill has a speed control dial that allows you to choose a speed from 4,000 to 30,000 RPM.
This is a much more convenient and flexible way to control the drill’s speed than a dial with a just a few steps, like “high” and “low”.
The power indicator is illuminated to remind you to switch the unit off when you’re done working.
And there is a forward and reverse button on the KUPA E-file control box too.
Unfortunately, there is no foot pedal in this unit since it’s portable anyway.
So you are supposed to control the speed with the dial.
This can be a downside for those nail technicians that are used to controlling the speed with their feet rather than their hands.

So any acetone coming in contact with it won’t ruin it.

ManiPRO Passport is equipped with the KUPA KP-60 stainless steel handpiece with rubber grip by default.
Slender and lightweight:
The handle is not thick so it’s very comfortable to hold in your hands, especially if you have small hands.
It’s also lightweight, and it doesn’t heat.
So your hand won’t get tired after using it for a long time.
This e-file also comes with a plastic handpiece holder that you can attach on either side of the control box.
The handpiece holder helps you protect the bit from scratching and the handpiece from dropping.
The control box is also compatible with KUPA KP-36, KP-50, and KP-55 handpieces.
And if you already have a compatible handpiece you can buy the control box only. It’s also sold separately
The only downside to KUPA’s handpieces is that the wire that connects them to the control box sometimes breaks.
If the warranty period hasn’t run out and if it’s the manufacturer’s fault then KUPA can fix it for you at no charge.
Drill bits

The bits are sold separately.
They are very easy to change with a simple twist-lock chuck.
The drill bit stays firm in the handpiece and doesn’t wobble.
The Passport nail drill is compatible with any standard 3/32″ bits.
By the way, KUPA offers a 240 grit diamond bit for this nail file that is safe for use on natural nails.
